Russell Oubina

Russell Oubina is the Co-founder and CEO of SM Consulting, bringing more than 17 years of professional work experience and entrepreneurial spirit to the company. Russ started his first company at the age of 19, Aalto Painting Inc. in Mahopac N.Y. He then went on to purchase several dilapidated multifamily apartment units all before the age of 23. He fulfilled his dream of serving in the United States Marine Corps in October 2000. Russ attended the University of San Diego graduating with honors with a B.A. in communication and minor in philosophy. He subsequently served a contracted consultant for the U.S. Department of Veteran’s Affairs procurement department helping small businesses meet requirements to obtain government contracts.

SM Consulting arose from Russ’s belief  that, “Small businesses should have an equal chance online as their corporate counterparts.We level the playing field by providing strategic advice to out maneveur competitors. It so happens we do SEO and Online Marketing“

Russ has a devotion and commitment to giving back to the community and has volunteered countless hours and served on several committee boards including Muscular Dystrophy Association, Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis Association (ALSA), Multiple Sclerosis Society and Relay For Life. In his free time he enjoys running marathons, diving in the Pacific Ocean, and volunteering.
